EASST
"European Association for the Study of Science and Technology is an interdisciplinary scholarly society, which reflects the closeness of history, philosophy, psychology and sociology of science in recent years. It also welcomes a policy perspective on science and technology. Cross-disciplinary interaction and cross-fertilisation between humanistic and policy-oriented studies are important aims. These aims are furthered through the EASST general conference, held every other year, workshops and the EASST Review."
Floatleft's Contribution
A tool for EASST members, the EUROGRAD discussion list is used for announcements of conferences, job openings, scholarships, calls for papers/articles and other relevant activities. To better distribute this information, EASST wanted to have the discussion list emails be posted to the EASST website. Using Drupal, we setup a system that retrieves list postings from a mailbox and automatically publishes them to the front page of the site. The system also allows for easy publication of the EASST review, the quarterly journal of the association, and includes a solid new design and logo for the organization.
