Globalization of Legal Norms
"The Open Society Justice Initiative, an operational program of the Open Society Institute (OSI), pursues law reform activities grounded in the protection of human rights, and contributes to the development of legal capacity for open societies. The Justice Initiative combines litigation, legal advocacy, technical assistance, and the dissemination of knowledge to secure advances in five priority areas: national criminal justice, international justice, freedom of information and expression, equality and citizenship, and anticorruption."
Floatleft's Contribution
The Justice Initiative asked us to re-design the overall look-and-feel of their web site. The project included improvements to the navigation, layout of information (e.g. balance of text and images, menus, buttons and forms). The main focus of the re-design was on the front page where other pages retained their basic structure with recommended stylistic changes. Our design was delivered as XHTML/CSS templates to be intergrated with Zope, an open source web application platform.
